How we're working to keep customers safe
We're so excited re-open our doors and welcome back your friendly faces. The health and safety of our staff and customers are paramount to us, and our re-opening. With this in mind we have rigorous front and back of house procedures in place to ensure wellbeing for all and below explains what you can expect when you next visit:
Upon arrival you'll notice we now have a clearly signposted dedicated entrance and exit. You'll be greeted by a team member and asked to scan a QR code for the purposes of track and trace before you're seated. This allows us to ensure each table is thoroughly cleaned between visitors. We have implemented dividers which allow you to feel relaxed whilst also maintaining distance from other guests.
On each of our menus you can find a QR code, which when scanned, will allow you to order both food and drinks directly to your table. This reduces congestion and contact in the pub, our staff are happy to walk you through the process if you have any concerns.
If, for any reason, you do need to approach the bar; we have custom built perspex screens to further reduce contact and we ask no more than 4 customers approach the bar at once to allow for 1m social distancing.
We have multiple hand sanitising stations located throughout the pub: at the entrance, exit, the centre of the floor and before the bathrooms. You can also find hand sanitiser at the bar and in our bathrooms, which have scheduled 30 minute cleanliness checks.
Each day (as always) the Kings Arms is cleaned professionally and we undertake regular thorough deep cleans on all surfaces, door handles, tables etc with anti-bacterial spray and disposable towels.
We kindly ask; if you’re feeling unwell please do not attend, however, if you’re feeling fit and able then please make the trip to our pub, your support is greatly appreciated.
Following government guidelines, we are limiting bookings to tables of 6 or less. For any other enquiries and to make arrangements for larger groups going forward please get in contact, either by entering your details via our bookings page or calling us directly.
If you would prefer to enjoy anything from our menu at home, we will still be offering our takeaways for collection Tuesday - Sunday. This can be ordered through our website or by giving us a call: 0207 407 4207
Please do bear with us, everything is changing rapidly we will continue to put the safety of our staff and our customers first. If you have any concerns don't hesitate to speak to a team member or reach out:
